Euro Steam-con and miniperformance in Gelida

This weekend is the euro-steamcon, a global european  Steampunk convention, taking places in different countries and cities. Several gatherings are taking place and I'm joining the Barcelona´s one. New videoclip, singles music in the making and latest news

DEAR FRIENDS, LISTENERS AND SUPPORTERS Here is again our monthly newsletter so you can be up to date with the latest news about my art and music :) Thanks you all for being there!

Next 20th July there will be a mini-event party in Barcelona to launch the videoclip "Sueño muerto" (one of the songs featured in my first album Ancient Shadows) directed by Serval de Jade and with stylism of El Costurero Real. Event will be at 21:00 in Minusa (Carrer  de Valencia 166. 8011, Barcelona, Spain). I'll be there myself along with the director and the maker of the garments while they show the video (launching simultaneously in youtube)  and I will offer intimate acoustic performance of the song. Attendance is free. You can join facebook event here.

I also wanted to remind you that last month we released a new single that is not included in our last album "NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY" starring also my pet rats (yes fairies and rats!). Free Ustream Online Concert Sunday 20th May and videoclip shootings

Online Ustream Concert / Chat today Sunday May 20th

The broadcast will be made from my home studio will be very much an acoustic small performance. Me (harp;  hammered dulcimer, flute, piano, voice), Jorge Lamata (guitar) and Armen (violin) lt will be an  intimate little concert from my webcam for you and also will play some requests ;-) For watching the concert just need to press play, for joining the chat you can register an ustream account or also use your facebook or twitter accounts.

Forum

We have launched a new forum in the website, where everyone can participate. We were testing it a bit and I can announce it now. We will be using it to put some contents that don't fit on any other section and also to interact with you. Read more about the forum in the About the forum post. So if you want to stop by and introduce yourself, say how you got to know my music or artworks or your feedback about my works, we´d be honored to count with your participation. You need to login with your user or email and password to participate.

We have launched a new interactive section in the fanclub, a messageboard so you can be even more up to date with the news. We´ll post there also pictures of our performances, news about events and much more. 2 semi-accosutic concerts in upcoming Medieval Fair of Hostalric (Catalonia, Spain)

Next weekend Saturday and  Sunday 7th and 8th April 2011 I´ll offer two semi-unplugged mini-concerts within the Medieval Fair of Hostalric. For the concert event there's a symbolic fee of 8 Eur (7 Eur if purchased in advance through Drakonia website info@drakonia.com). The event will  feature the sound of the harp, hammered dulcimer and other old instruments and will be a close, intimate one with the collaboration of musician friends. My Red Riding Hood cover of the issue 117 of Fantasy magazine MINATURA

New issue of MINATURA magazine out (you can download the free pdf in the following link). This issue is devoted to werewolves and zoomorphosis and I made the red riding hood showed in the cover and my song-poem Northern Lights and its illustration is featured also in page 79. (ENGLISH) It´s been so many months since I sent a newsletter I know. So I'll make a brief resume of what's been going on lately :).  As you all may already know I released my second and new album THE UNDERLIVING late 2011. After a pre-release in Faeriecon (USA) and Imagicon (Spain) it oficially released late November and in December a dream came true when I was able to perform in La Palma, my native island. You can listen to previews and  download two free songs from bandcamp and also see a flash of the booklet at the info page. It released in special edition with 18 tracks and a booklet of 52 pages of illustrations in panoramic DVD size format So both digital and digibook ed. are available at the store.  I may tell you physical copy is a really pretty deluxe edition. If you're press an interested in feature/review please feel free to contact for the purpose.

(ESPAÑOL) Han pasado varios meses desde la última newsletter y muchas cosas han pasado, lo más importante que mi segundo y nuevo disco THE UNDERLIVING ha sido editado. En la web podréis ver muestras y descargar dos temas gratuitamente. El disco se compone de 18 canciones y se ha editado en un formato especial digibook en tamaño DVD panorámico y con un libreto de 52 páginas de ilustraciones. Después de pre-estrenarse en faeriecon (Estados Unidos) e IMAGICON (España) su fecha de lanzamiento oficial fue a finales de Noviembre y desde entonces ha ido cosechando muy buenas críticas. Este febrero ha sido incluido en los programas HIDROGEN (Catalunya Radio) y también en el legendario programa estadounidense HEARTS OF SPACE que se emite en más de 200  estaciones de radio norteamericanas. El programa 792 del show "Supernatural" incluye cuatro temas del disco. A los lectores que sean de medios de prensa y estén interesados en apoyarnos mediante reseña, artículos o emisión en radio, no dudéis en contactarnos.

Birthday Ustream and "Winter Fairies" party at Madame Chocolat (Barcelona)

16th December is my birthday and thus (If tech conditions allow I'll make a tiny ustream for my friends at around 21:00 CET) It will be short this time and more a birthday chat not only to celebrate that I'm one year older ahem!
