Ah bless, Kira is a beautiful dog. I can understand you saying she was part of you and vice versa. I've had a total 5 truly beautiful dogs sharing my home and my life and made friends with countless others. I still mourn my dogs. Sad that often our life span is double, treble, quadruple that of dogs. It is a wrench to the heart.
