Improvisation with wind roarer

This is a wind band (an instrument that works like a bull-roarer a prehistoric instrument found in many cultures). It had broken and remained silent over a year so I took the first chance to climb a hill and spin it as soon as it came back to life and sound. In Britain and Ireland they were used in ceremonial thunder spell rites and it is also found in other cultures. I felt like summoning the wind and the sunset was just perfect... Song is lyricless because I was just improvising and letting it go with the moment. Mine was manufactured by Tribal Thunder and customised by myself. Any piece of wood attached to a string should also make the same effect. :). I play it very much as a drone but if you spin faster you can get several harmonics and even a digeridoo-like sound. Sharing this pre-Samhain mood tune.
