Last weekend I performed in the Medieval Fair of Hostalric (Catalonia, Spain). My concert was organized by Drakonia events and though the castle chamber was rather small it was really an enchanting place and we had lots of fun along with a very warm and close audience. After the Sunday performance we ended up jamming by the fire! Lots of acoustic instruments in this almost unplugged set up quite different from our usual but equally enjoyable for us to play.
Above: photo by Sandra de Montserrat of Saturday performance.
The line up was:
Priscilla Hernandez (me): vocals, composition, hammered dulcimer, harp, piano, double ocarina, irish high and low whistle and recorder.
Héctor Corcín: piano, koshi chimes, loops, windband
Jorge Lamata: Acoustic guitar
Svetlana Tovstukha: Cello
Armen Vartanyan: Violin
And it was sooo fun! I look forward to repeat but also want to state we missed our sweet Biel Fiol in the ensemble, reuniting hopefully song to make some noise!
Thanks also to Oristila for taking photographies of the event.
