Well, I try to be there, but I don't promise anything, because I have some issues in my life and my computer, chatting will be probably not working at all (but I have always had/have problems with chatrooms no matter where...) or I can only talk on the live-stream...

Will see, if things turn out for everyone alright tonight... It's always hard to tell, when something's happening...

I want to share some thoughts about the concert

Thank you everyone !

We received so much good feedback, on the chat and facebook, twitter and emails.. that we are filled with enthusiasm and full of energy, looking forward to do more.

We recorded part of the concert and we will be uploading some highlights on youtube soon.

I want to thank you Jorge and Armen, new members of the band. Your support is very important to us at this moment. THANK YOU!

I was controlling the sound mix and camera so I couldn't play. I was working hard to be able to setup everything to be able to bring you good sound quality in stereo.. and the video.. as good as I could with one little webcam we have... We hope to improve it in the future if we can use multiple cameras. That's the next step.

One thing I miss is to be able to read the chat now to show Priscilla all the beautiful comments all the people leaved on the chat.

Received some complaints about the ads. I know... It was bad.. I didn't know there was going to be so many interrupting ads... I don't mind the ads that pop over the video, but, the ads that interrupt the video for 20 seconds are not tolerable for a concert because you can miss part of a song. We need to find another solution... The problem is that to stream without ads is very expensive! I have seen the prices on ustream and it is $100 per month.. and that includes 100 viewing hours. Last concert consumed 89 viewer hours. So it would allow us to do 1 concert per month. Next is the one that includes 4000 hours.. and it is $500 per month... we just can't afford that. :(... People can use adblock extensions on firefox or chrome.. to block those ads but not everybody use them and it's not fair.. I understand someone has to pay the bill for the bandwidth consumed on the streaming. As a solution I can only think of some kind of P2P streaming video solution. Not sure if that even exists. Other solution would be to ask people for a ticket to attend the concert? I don't know how many would come then. Maybe one day if we can do it in a big stage and with multiple cameras and more professionally.. but for now a small stream from home it's fine to be free and ad supported.

in the shadows...

Hi Hector,

Please forgive my late viewing of the concert, as we had been interstate without personal computer access when your show was streamed live from the studio. Fortunately,  Priscilla very kindly sent me a link to it this weekend, so I've now caught up with the beautiful music and atmosphere of it all. I recognise some talented musicians from your earlier concert in Hostalric Medieval Fair. (That was great, by the way, as I've already emailed Priscilla in some detail. Something about small, intimate settings really suits the ethereal genre of music. I hope there'll be more of them now that the internet can share the experience, which somewhat diminishes the need for a concert hall, after all :-))

This studio concert is the first time I've actually seen Priscilla play the Kantele. Such a gorgeous instrument. But also wonderful to see more close-up views of her playing harp.

Piano too, which you also play so well.

And such a voice! I can never hear enough of that lovely sylvan stream of sound. Thank you all!

x Louisa

Thank you Louisa, you are so kind :)

We definitely want to make more streaming concerts online.

You know.. I have this faerie goddess at home... and I am privileged to listen to her singing each day live here but I thought.. it's not fair.. the world must see her more often... so I started to investigate this thing... and with internet you can reach an audience from all over the world.. at the expense of not being the same acoustically or visually but at least it is something and I think it is really cool.. We want to add more cameras and to do some more interactive experiments too... like.. asking the audience for a song or which instrument do they prefer to see... :)

Yep, it was great, Pris was fabulous as always and the musicians were great as well and so was your interlude, Hector! I realised, you skipped that one... Hey, you both are great musicians, so no need to hide! I love Pris music from the moment when I listened to her first version of I steal the leaves years ago, your music is great as well...

My interlude... oh it was not planned.. and I don't know what I played haha, but thanks...

We are preparing a little surprise concert maybe tomorrow if Priscilla wants... It will be some soundtracks covers by Priscilla. I'm listening to her now.. and it is amazing :D... I have everything ready! Been etting up some things.  I hope I can convince her to do it a small one tomorrow :)

We are going to try livestream instead of ustream... It is supposed to only put an ad each hour.. so that's better. We will see.

Maybe one day I would play one concert with my music... :)
