This is a cover I made of "Come Little Children" the song of Hogus Pocus movie. I had recorded it to make a youtube tribute, butas this song is not mine as a cover I only wanted to share it here for now. The soundtrack was composed by John Debney. Film music have always been my favourite genre, and I hold dearly some songs. This one was pretty magical. I dared to contact John Debney via facebook and he replied to me with some praising words, I was so happy (as a Henson's fan I have a weakness for Elmo in Grouchland also composed by him, though you will know his work maybe through Cutthroat island original music score).
So you can imagine that as a fan he took the effort (<3) to reply to me. And I was so thrilled.
"I loved your rendition. It sounded great" John Debney
So here it is (just press play) with my deep admiration. So far only in the message board for the few of you that visit it :).
Original composition by John Debney from the soundtrack Hocus Pocus (1993)
This song is not on sale in any way, this is just a heartfelt rendition and tribute to the original composer which I have previously contacted for feedback. I've only recorded this as a way to show my hammered dulcimer arrangement an instrument I'm learning and I think I'm getting better at. So said that I do not own this song neither it is sold in anyway, but only to show my admiration for the original composer (who I've contacted to show first) and my arrangement for hammered dulcimer (see picture below)
Credits: me (arrangement in this cover, vocals, hammered dulcimer, piano), Armen Vartanyan (violin), Svetlana Tovstukha (cello)
