Lament

Have you ever ached so much? Is the pain so unbearable that you would like to be able to undo all the creation if that would just give you the slightest chance of getting back what you know you’ve lost forever, but still with the conviction that there’s no way to recover it? When that sorrow grows so wild inside your spirit that it almost becomes a curse on your lips… and it hurts… deeply. I wrote this song when my heart and soul were completely broken and undone. Singing it still bring tears to my eyes.
Though it was composed for my comic YIDNETH for a very sad reason this song goes on in the instrumental piece "Ahora que te has ido" (now that you're gone) dedicated to KIRA, to show the pain of the greatest loss I've ever felt.

Lyrics:

I moved the moon to grow the tides
just to leave myself drifting in the waves
And I devoured the light of sun
made it black to blind my eyes
and see what eyes can't see
I'll break the root of every tree
and spoil the life from seeds
and curse lands to decay....
I'll make the rivers run back dry
I can't find what I lost
just pebbles, bones and dust
No one stays...
Nothing lasts...
It aches, how deep it aches
It hurts, how deep it hurts
aches…

Now that you’re gone, may all that’s done becomes undone
How deep it aches!

Lyrics translation:

Nada dura...
Y duele..., cuán profundo duele
Y daña, cuán hiriente daña
Duele
